Outstanding, a rare breed. Just when you’re starting to lose faith with contractors/service personnel along comes Justin. A breath of fresh air. He actually listens and makes your dream come true, instead of making excuses and overcharging you. Always keeps you informed of what’s going on and trades schedule. My family tells me I have OCD. It might be true, all I know is I’m a very conscientious guy and Justin’s work ethic and quality control are unparalleled. He will use the best materials, and research the best components for the perfect finished product. As an example; my workshop has an 8’ x 8’ solid mahogany carriage door. He researched the best hinges for the door. He didn’t go to the local big box stores and get regular hinges to do a cheap patch job. He ordered special purpose hinges which could handle the 500 pound weight and are recessed in the door jamb for a clean seamless look. He ordered them from a company in England, and are made in Germany. He is a great project manager. Before I had a chance to tell him of something I was concerned with, he’d already scheduled the trade to come back and correct the situation. He will get the job done to your satisfaction, better yet I believe he will exceed your expectations and AWE you with the final product. I would highly recommend him for any job. We had a great experience with JJ Built Construction. Everything he did, he did with precision and care. We were incredible pleased with the outcome of all the work completed in our house. We had asked for an estimate for several things knowing we wouldn’t be able to do everything and only planned on having done what we could afford and then the rest later. His prices for the quality of work are incomparable in our eyes. We had baseboards completely redone, windowsills replaced, holes in the walls repaired and other odds and ends we needed fixed. He went above and beyond looking for products that would solve some of our problems, he worked around our crazy schedule, he’s extremely kind & honest. We will definitley call him for ANY work that we need done in the future!!

We had a HUGE project as we were doing a complete remodel while trying to salvage some of the original features of this 1901 rock/stone home. It was a lot of work and we knew we’d have lots of changes due to the unknown conditions of the home. Justin was exactly the guy for the job. He provided us excellent service always calling or texting us of changes, additions, and updates as well as keeping us informed of the progress when we were away. We truly can not recommend this company highly enough. We are thrilled with the results and plan to use him again in the near future!

We can only echo what so many others have penned in their reviews of JJ Built Construction. Justin came into our intricate and tangled home renovation project without a second to spare and built us the most astonishing and breathtaking extensive 2nd and 3rd level deck. His professionalism is beyond reproach. His transparency with us is testament to his allegiance and commitment to his craft. We experienced no setbacks or miscalculations. We are left with a majestic view of the lake from our phenomenal decks.

Our only regret was not having JJ Built build our entire renovation enterprise from inception.

Justin Johnson put up outbuildings for for neighbors and after seeing the quality of his work we got in touch with him to design and build a shop for us. We couldn’t be happier. He worked hard to meet the HOA standards and helped us navigate the approval process. He is personable, dependable, honest, detail oriented and delivers great quality work. Justin kept a close eye on the built site, keeping it clean and picked up. He was on site daily, paying close attention his subcontractors and the quality of their work. He found a couple of things he was not satisfied with and had the subcontractors back to fix the mistakes promptly. He did final finishing detail work himself and is meticulous and skilled. We highly recommend Justin, doing so gladly and without reservation.
